Founded back in the summer of 2012, Clean Digital is a multi-award-winning specialist PPC agency based in Edinburgh. For over a decade, our vision has remained steadfast; to provide best-in-class customer service via our PPC management and constantly push the boundaries on what we can achieve for clients. In recent years we have seen significant growth, now a team of 16, enabling us to develop and diversify our offerings, both strategically and technically, further solidifying our position as PPC experts. An exciting, and perhaps most significant milestone in the Clean Digital journey occurred earlier this year when Rory, then sole owner & MD of Clean Digital, decided to take the leap and transition the business into a 100% employee-owned company – meaning that every team member, no matter their position, has meaningful stake in the company and a say on how things are run. As co-owners, each member of our team is personally invested in Clean Digital’s success, which translates into a commitment to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Being nominated for PPC Agency of the Year 2023 at the UK Agency Awards in London in September was a real honour, especially in our first year as an employee-owned business. The nomination alone reflected our amazing team’s hard work, passion, and enthusiasm, but when our name was called on the night and Clean Digital was named winner of the award, we simply couldn’t contain our excitement. This recognition signifies our unwavering commitment to delivering excellence in every project we undertake, and is a testament to the skill, innovation, and dedication of our incredible team.
Winning PPC Agency of the Year has meant the world to the team. Not only has it cemented our position as a leading PPC agency in the UK, but winning the award has also ignited our hunger to strive to be even better. Over the past year, our Data & Analytics team have been developing a number of products (such as SignalPulse & RoverAI) designed to improve campaign efficiency and ultimately save advertisers money from their PPC in order to maximise results and boost ROI. Being named PPC Agency of the Year 2023 has certainly inspired confidence, giving us a nudge to ramp up the rollout of these products, and we’re already seeing significant results coming in across our clients’ accounts.
After receiving the feedback from the judges, we were thrilled to learn that both becoming employee-owned, and our focus on technology & adoption of AI, were stated as key factors in their decision to name Clean Digital PPC Agency of the Year. The fact that the judges recognised our “forward-thinking mindset” has left us feeling humbled, as we started the year with three main goals, all of which we’ve managed to achieve:
