BBJ&K are a media planning and buying agency based in Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. As a UK-leading independent media agency, we help brands to get in front of their target audiences through strategic media positioning across traditional and digital formats.

Founded by Managing Director, Emma Baxter and Media Strategy Director, John Keane, the agency has grown from a team of 4 to 22 over the past six years which is testament to the robust philosophies of the agency. Built on passion and experience, the BBJ&K team position themselves as an extension to clients marketing departments, encouraging transparent discussions, facilitating training sessions, and producing stand out campaigns that challenge the conventions of advertising whilst hitting objectives.

What these awards mean to BBJ&K

Being shortlisted for these awards demonstrates the fantastic growth the company has seen, along with the culture and the success that has been built to benefit both staff and clients. The team at BBJ&K are the heart of the agency and culture is a core priority.

From team socials to company conferences abroad, BBJ&K are always looking to create an atmosphere that drives productivity and positivity. In addition, BBJ&K offers private healthcare, flexible working hours and working from home days to create a work-life balance that suits the hard-working team.

On top of this, being recognised for our level of client servicing, including or commitment to ethical and transparent relationships, is important to BBJ&K. These core pillars allow us to build close and lasting relationships with our clients and media owners, which improves our ability to plan and buy stand out campaigns.

Managing Director, Emma Baxter said: ‘I am really proud to see we’re shortlisted for two great awards. Being shortlisted is an achievement in itself and is testament to the amazing team we have on board.’

Why we’d like to win

Winning these awards would recognise our accomplishments as an established media planning and buying agency. We love to celebrate all of our achievements, from new client wins through to team member promotions – every moment matters to us, and these awards would be another key reason to be proud to work at BBJ&K.

As a growing agency, it is important for us to take a step back and review our performance to allow progression year on year, and having more awards under out belt solidifies that we are making the right decisions to allow the agency to continually improve.
