Evoluted celebrate twin award win

We’re thrilled to have scooped two prestigious awards at the 2022 UK Agency Awards, taking home SEO Agency of the Year and Best SEO Campaign!

As a full-service digital agency, we take great pride in all of our specialisms across web design, development and marketing – but it’s particularly special for our SEO team to be doubly rewarded as building out our SEO offering has been a key focus in recent years.

Evoluted began life in 2006 as a development-first agency primarily working with local clients in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. We’ve come a long way since then, transitioning from offering marketing services as an add-on to building a genuinely industry-leading SEO team and winning major national and European awards for our organic search campaigns.

This growth is reflected in our marketing team headcount leaping from six just two years ago to 20 staff now.

We were awarded Best SEO Campaign at the Agency Awards for our work with camping gear retailer Sea to Summit. Our wide-ranging campaign saw us lead the way by taking full ownership over our client’s website to ensure their customers enjoyed a brilliant end-to-end user experience. Besides an intelligent keyword strategy using well-researched audience personas, we overhauled website navigation, improved mobile site performance and wrote engaging copy for category pages.

We also made use of our Sheffield base’s proximity to the beautiful Peak District to film stunning video content to establish Sea to Summit as an expert in camping recipes, and to demonstrate their equipment in action.

The results were a dramatic improvement in Sea to Summit’s visibility for vital keywords, which translated into emphatic boosts to organic conversions and revenue.

The UK Agency Awards judges agreed our entry was definitely a case of “All the gear and all the ideas”, calling it “An exceptional campaign which was executed perfectly and branches out from the usual SEO tactics.

“In a competitive landscape, the results are very impressive. Despite having an SEO brief you went above and beyond, providing solid results and a great platform for growth.”

Our Evoluted delegation who headed down to London for the awards ceremony – Senior Content Specialist Ellie Gribbon, Content Executive Jenn Parker, Front-End Developer Matt Cotton and Senior Developer James Hall – were dressed to impress, had a great time and brought the awards back to Sheffield via a trip on the Tube!

We were also finalists in a further five agency and campaign-level categories on the night, a great recognition of our wider team’s hard work and achievements.
