The hard work of the Creative Pod team has paid off yet again! We are delighted to announce our shortlisting as a finalist for Best Agency Culture at the 2025 UK Agency Awards. This achievement marks the third significant award recognition for our agency this year, building on our success as Stand Out Small Integrated Digital Agency of the Year at the UK Digital Excellence Awards and our recent shortlisting for Best In-Agency Team at the UK Social Media Awards (Award ceremony: 8th October).
Since 2006, Creative Pod has built a reputation as a full-service marketing, website, and design agency, helping brands across all sectors tell their stories and achieve their goals. For years, we’ve delivered impactful results for our clients locally in the South East, but recently, we made a strategic decision to expand our focus to a national stage. Being named a finalist for our third London-based award this year is a testament to the success of that move.
Who is Creative Pod?
Our philosophy is simple: every client deserves a service that’s nothing short of exceptional. We often liken our approach to Michelin-star dining, meticulously crafted and delivered with precision and flair. Whether we’re working with a brand in the South East, London, or even the Middle East, our team dedicates this same level of care to every project. From PPC and organic social media to PR distribution and comprehensive campaign creation, we handle every detail of your marketing and creative needs.
Behind the Scenes
Our success is a direct result of our dynamic team, with each member playing a crucial role. Head of Marketing, Sadie Wigg, guides the marketing team, while Head of Creative Gordon leads our design and website division. Our Head of Commercial, James Turner, is the driving force behind all sponsorship, activation, and partnership opportunities. This core structure is supported by our dedicated Managing Director and two account handlers who focus on new business, all guided by the strategic vision of our Founder and CEO, serial entrepreneur Matt Turner, MBE.
At Creative Pod, a positive and supportive culture isn’t just a saying; it’s our top priority. For years, Matt Turner MBE has led the agency with a people-first philosophy, treating the team not simply as employees but as the very heart of our success.
This vision comes to life through a blend of shared experiences and professional empowerment. From all-expenses-paid team trips to Devon, the Isle of Wight, and Norfolk, to impromptu celebrations for birthdays and work anniversaries, we make time for food, games, and genuine connection. These social events are vital, but our culture goes far beyond them.
Professional growth and development are deeply embedded in everything we do. Matt and our senior leadership team are committed to giving every individual the chance to thrive, whether through external training, access to industry events, speaking opportunities, or online learning platforms. If someone wants to level up their skills, we actively empower them to make it happen.
Ultimately, we believe that building a great agency takes more than just talent; it takes trust, shared purpose, and a team that genuinely cares. When you invest in your people, they invest back, and that mutual commitment is precisely what makes Creative Pod tick.
Head of Marketing, Sadie Wigg, commented: “When I started my two-week internship here six years ago, I never imagined I’d one day be leading a department. That upward trajectory is a testament to the people-first culture here. From day one, Matt Turner MBE and Sarah Lyons have invested in me, providing me with management training, valuable opportunities to grow, and the autonomy to build a successful client portfolio. They genuinely empower their team to develop and succeed.”
Ongoing Projects
Although we are in a very challenging market, facing significant economic and political headwinds, we are navigating this difficult space. With hard work and consistency, we continue to partner with forward-thinking businesses and individuals who understand the value of investing in marketing, even in uncertain times.

We are working on some exciting projects at the moment, particularly within Formula One, travel, and the health industry, working with our clients on partnerships, sponsorships, PPC, paid social ads and content creation. We also support a vast number of charity clients, including the RSPCA, The Salvation Army, The Migraine Trust, Rockinghorse Children’s Charity and Guild Care, supporting them with organic social media, PR distribution, capital appeal campaigns and design assets.
Our in-house marketing is now a top priority, led by our Head of Marketing, Sadie Wigg. Since stepping into the role this year, she has made it a mission to apply the same strategic principles we use for our clients, implementing campaigns across organic social media, email marketing, and content creation. We are also developing an exciting new direct marketing piece that aligns perfectly with our Michelin-Star offering. A key advantage of being an agency is the ability to use our own brand as a testing ground for new tactics, which allows us to provide our clients with proven strategies and build greater trust.
The countdown is on! We’re incredibly excited to attend the UK Agency Awards ceremony in London next week. It’s an honour to be shortlisted alongside the UK’s most inspiring agencies and creative minds, and we can’t wait to celebrate the best of the industry.
