Championing forces for good

For more than 15 years, Jersey Road has worked with a varied portfolio Christian nonprofit and for-purpose organisations in the UK, Australia and US to help them communicate with impact. Our clients are a force for good, and we work with them to reach and engage with audiences who can make that good a reality.

We’re a small and diverse team of 23, with a wealth of experience from across the public, private and third sectors, all committed to seeing our clients succeed.

Our ethos is to be a trusted extension of our clients’ teams, good stewards of their message and to offer bold and creative counsel.

Reaching one billion

We had the privilege of working with YouVersion, a global ministry that leverages technology to help people engage with the Bible for free, on a campaign to celebrate a landmark milestone for the organisation. YouVersion is the creator of the world’s most popular Bible App.

The Bible App was one of the first apps available for download at the App Store’s launch in 2008. Since then, it has grown rapidly and is now used by millions of people all over the world every single day. In November 2025, YouVersion reached an incredible one billion installs across its Family of Apps.

The project had two aims. The first was to co-ordinate a global campaign celebrating the milestone. The second was to rally people around a new initiative, Global Bible Month, which invited people all over the world to take part in a 30-day challenge: reading the Bible every day in November.

Global reach

The campaign was multi-faceted, comprising influencer marketing, media relations, news-jacking, media monitoring and thought leadership. To reach audiences across Europe, South America, Australia, Africa and Southeast Asia, we also worked with a network of international partners, ensuring that our approaches and messaging were adapted for relevance to each region.

We spread the word about Global Bible Month to audiences on every continent , signing 107 influencers across 13 countries to share the campaign with their communities for a total potential audience of 67.5 million. We also packed and shipped branded gift boxes to influencers across the globe, creating a tangible way for creators to bring the campaign to life. Alongside the influencer activity, we secured 313 pieces of media coverage, including the BBC, Business A.M., and The Sydney Morning Herald.

Across the world, nearly 3 million people signed up to take part in Global Bible Month.

The movement also made a mark on iconic landmarks. It took over Times Square with celebratory billboards, appeared in Las Vegas and projected Bible verses and the Bible App logo onto the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.

Celebrating the Bible over a brand

Part of the campaign was celebrating one billion installs but a greater focus was placed on Global Bible Month, a movement meant to unify people around the world to read their Bibles, whether that is on the Bible App or a physical copy.

It was designed to be a simple, authentic way for people all around the world to celebrate and engage with Scripture together.

It was this element among others that made the campaign so rewarding to work on, knowing we were part of a campaign celebrating the most popular book of all time, that has touched and impacted many lives, and continues to do so.

A moment that mattered

We are delighted to be shortlisted for the Best Not-For-Profit Campaign (small). Receiving recognition for a campaign of such scale and reach is incredibly rewarding and a testament to the importance of the work our clients do.

Jersey Road Account Director Claire Thacker said: “What makes this meaningful is what the campaign was for. We weren’t celebrating a brand so much as the Bible, and helping people all over the world open it and read it. Our clients are a force for good, and this recognition is really about them. We’re grateful to the YouVersion team for trusting us with a moment that mattered so much to them, and proud of a team that took a moment this significant and made it resonate around the world.”

Building on success

We are excited to continue working with the YouVersion team as their PR and communications agency for global work, alongside our wider partnerships with an inspiring and diverse range of clients, who are making a difference and reaching new audiences all over the world.

Global Bible Month will also return for its second year this November, beginning an annual opportunity for people all around the world to celebrate the Bible once again.
