We’re proud to share that Kitch has been shortlisted for Best Social Media Campaign at the UK Agency Awards 2025.

This nomination recognises campaigns that deliver real results through strategy, creativity and execution. That’s exactly what we set out to achieve with our TikTok-first campaign for kate & tom’s.

As a strategic social agency, Kitch connects brands with communities. We specialise in social-first storytelling, platform strategy, content creation and community management. The Brief: Go beyond bookings, build a brand

kate & tom’s, a premium collection of large luxury holiday homes across the UK, approached us with a challenge. They wanted to grow brand awareness and TikTok engagement among UK-based travel audiences, while building a loyal online community.

Reaching 10,000 followers was a key milestone, unlocking TikTok’s Playlists feature to better showcase their growing portfolio in a structured, user-friendly way. But the goal wasn’t just to grow numbers. It was about creating a presence that felt human, aspirational and connected.

The Campaign: TikTok with purpose

We designed a full-scale TikTok strategy built around platform-native content, consistent engagement and smart amplification. Key elements included:

  • Native, eye-catching content: High-performing visuals like drone shots, property tours and local destination features were paired with conversation-starting captions such as “Countryside weekend or coastal escape?”
  • Consistency with creativity: We posted three times per week to build rhythm and maximise reach while tapping into relevant trends in a brand-aligned way
  • Community management every day: Our team engaged with every comment, DM and mention from 9am to 9pm, seven days a week, building real-time trust and relationships
  • Performance-led paid strategy: We promoted top-performing content through paid support. Video View Ads increased reach and visibility, while Carousel Traffic Ads encouraged clicks and conversions
  • Content refinement: Using TikTok analytics, we optimised formats, tested themes and refined timing to increase performance and deepen engagement

Results: Real growth, real engagement

Over the course of 12 months, the results were clear:

  • TikTok followers increased by 160%, growing the account to 10.3K
  • Engagements rose by 266%, totalling over 27,000
  • Video views surpassed 2 million, across organic and paid content

This campaign gave kate & tom’s more than just a social boost. It helped build a trusted voice in the UK travel space, with content that sparked conversation and connection.
