Too often, it’s the loudest companies that get noticed, leaving new entrepreneurs and seasoned service providers alike without voice.
Tired of seeing real potential silenced, in 2015, PR specialist, Hannah Haffield, made it her mission to help challenger brands and founders embrace their edge through the launch of PR and Comms agency, Make More Noise.
Amplifying business
Based in Birmingham, Make More Noise has since proven that world-class creativity and impact can thrive outside the capital. As PR Account Director, John Bowen, puts it: “You don’t need a London postcode to make national or even international waves. You just need a strong team, strategic vision, and commitment to making a difference”.
This is where MMN thrives. The team has spent the past decade ensuring clients across all industries can be heard loud and clear by those who matter – the target audience – curating and placing the right messages in the right places, at the right time.
Thought leadership articles build credibility and awareness, while digital and social media plans spark audience engagement. Awards entries keep client companies at the top of their game – and top of mind. And personal profiling and reputation management services ensure clients always put their best face forward. This is what replaces hollow PR – just another voice in the already crowded echo chamber – with the MMN USP: amplification with real purpose.
Finding the right frequency
Shortlisted for PR Agency of the Year (Small) at the UK Agency Awards, MMN is proud to have generated waves of success for its many valued clients. Its work with tech start-up, SIMSINLifts, for instance, not only shows how reputations are built strategically and creatively over time – but also demonstrates how MMN can turn even the most complex of messages on the most niche of products into stories that truly resonate with real people.
Founded in 2023, SIMSINLifts broke the mould by introducing multi-roam sim card technology to the elevator industry. Soon, all lifts will rely on mobile signal for emergency calls – and multi-roam sims, which connect to the strongest available network, guarantee connection. When SIMSINLifts started, however, the majority of lift companies didn’t yet grasp its value.
MMN laid the groundwork for success by drafting and placing thought-provoking articles in top publications, to establish SIMSINLifts as a leading voice. The firm’s capacity to reshape the lift market thus grew, with the brand so strong that profits soared into the hundreds of thousands as partnership conversations began with industry giants, after just two short years. SIMSINLifts continued to innovate throughout this time, too, with MMN supporting its founders as they continued to push market boundaries. This year, SIMSINLifts led the charge at the sector’s top industry event, LiftEx 2025, as a result. Success was so resounding that it later announced plans to expand into Europe.
With MMN’s help – the market sat up and listened. This is the power of purposeful noise.
A harmonious culture
Of course, it’s the team behind MMN that makes such resounding success possible.
Though many firms claim to operate like a family, few actually do. This cannot be said of Make More Noise. Each and every member of the team genuinely supports one another, coming together to share ideas, successes, opportunities, and laughter. The office is a hub of true collaboration, where employees can bounce ideas off one another as they drink coffee or join in an in-office yoga or massage session – anything to get the creativity flowing.

MMN knows that when people feel valued, invested in, and inspired internally, they will produce better outcomes for external clients.
A future that carries
Make More Noise’s commitment to impact has paid off, not only for clients but for the PR business. Being shortlisted as a finalist for PR Agency of the Year (Small) at the 2025 Agency Awards couldn’t have come at a better time, as the company approaches its ten-year anniversary with renewed energy and enthusiasm after Director, Hannah Haffield, acquired full ownership in September 2024.
“Being shortlisted for PR Agency of the Year has been another real boost for the team”, explains PR Account Manager, Robyn Smith. “It feels amazing to see our hard work paying off. Being in the running has got everyone talking and has really consolidated our sense of purpose as a team as we continue pushing above and beyond industry standard – to build better for our customers and for each other”.
For Make More Noise, which has added three new team members to its ranks in 2025, further growth is on the horizon – though the focus will always be helping ambitious leaders and brands build profile and credibility. The team will continue to nurture the close working relationships that allow it to build measurable reputations, cutting through the noise using a combination of forward-thinking strategies and tried-and-tested methods.

Final note
Some brands shout loudly, remaining deafeningly out of tune with the demands of modern markets. It’s our job to understand you, understand your markets and ensure you stand out against industry competitors – backed by the substantiated reputation we’ve built to ensure your outreach not only resonates but carries forward.
