Hookflash is super excited to be nominated in the CRO Agency of the Year category at the UK Agency Awards following an incredible first year and a half in business.
Hookflash launched on January 1, 2023, with a mission to help clients, and media agencies, get more from their websites through collaboration between three key areas: digital analytics, SEO, and Insights & Experimentation.
The website is often the first point of contact for many organisations, and optimising its performance continues to be both a challenge and an opportunity for brands prioritising the ever-important customer experience.
And in our first 19 months, our growth demonstrates how we are helping clients such as Barbour, Curam, Clarion Events, Lovat Parks and Ooni make considerable gains, supporting them across SEO, CRO and Experimentation, and Analytics.
We have exceeded our most ambitious expectations, helping over 60 brands grapple with and get used to GA4, and other analytics tools, to start driving business impact. And we’ve trained a dozen media agencies and over 250 digital professionals to use GA4.
We doubled our first-year revenue target, grew the team from 3 to 10 people and partnered with a number of best-in-class analytics and website optimisation platforms, including Optimizely, Web Trends Optimize, VWO, Contentsquare, Mixpanel and AB Tasty.
We’re super proud that our Head of Experimentation, Nicole, scooped Rising to the Top – Technology at the Campaign Inspiring Women’s Award earlier this year. Nicole is responsible for leading most of our website testing programs to date and is passionate about using technology to make web experiences better.
We were also incredibly proud to run our first ever event in April 2024, an event in partnership with leading platforms AB Tasty and Contentsquare on Experimentation Excellence: From Inception to Expansion. We had over 40 attendees from 20+ clients who listened to talks from us, AB Tasty, Contentsquare, and two of our shared clients – Lovat Parks and Contentsquare. Engagement was through the roof, and we even created “experimentation maturity bingo” – a new firm crowd favourite!
Finally, we’re proud of our in-house development function and the fact that this makes it easier for us to create more impactful experiments for our clients. We have a Hookflash Widget Library that clients can use to easily test net new functionality on their site, customised to their branding – whether that’s a USP bar or a splash overlay. We have deployed this on several clients so far and are seeing great results from tests which can be built quickly and at scale without mistakes.
All this delivered by a diverse team, that’s 50% female and 43% from ethnic minority backgrounds. We’re committed to our DEI and charity policies, while being focussed on innovation, forward looking, and delivering on the day-to-day.
