The whole team at Motive Agency are buzzing as we have been shortlisted for not one, but four prestigious awards at the forthcoming UK Agency Awards 2024. Being recognised in the following categories is a remarkable achievement for the Motive team.
- Best Not-for-Profit Campaign (small)
- Best Agency Culture
- Digital Agency of the Year (small)
- Social Media Agency of the Year (small)
Striving for excellence
The entire team at Motive were thrilled with the shortlist announcement as this showcases the outstanding relationships we have with our clients. We understand more than the project or brief currently being worked on, we truly know our client’s businesses inside and out. Together with our clients, we create impactful and relevant campaigns to resonate with target audiences, driving results that matter.
Elsie Carpenter, Senior Account Manager at Motive Agency said: “As finalists for these renowned awards, we couldn’t be prouder of the dedication and hard work that our team put in every day. Their commitment for delivering impactful campaigns, particularly in the not-for-profit sector has been duly acknowledged, which reaffirms that our devotion to making a positive difference in people’s lives is on the right track.”
The From Childhood to Adulthood campaign with Guide Dogs UK, designed to raise awareness about the remarkable services and support provided to people of all ages living with sight loss, has been recognised in the Best Not-for-Profit Campaign (small) category. The campaign was created to highlight that those living with sight loss can live the life they choose, regardless of their age or vision impairment, which saw us create, develop, and produce an emotive video for YouTube, as well as a successful omnichannel social media campaign.
Told through the lens of real service users, the hero video featured individuals aged from 6-years-old to 81-years-old sharing their stories and personal journeys with Guide Dogs. It was essential that we developed a strong story-telling plan to guarantee the message was conveyed correctly and that the final edit told a story that aligned perfectly with the campaign brief whilst staying true to each participant’s experiences.
A fantastic achievement highlighted as part of our award entry was the increase in social media and YouTube growth during 2023 compared to the previous period. Social media grew 6.42%, whereas our video offering for Guide Dogs has facilitated a 60% increase in growth on YouTube. Saving the best for last, after launching their TikTok channel in April 2021, they now have more than 41.4k followers, with over 80% increase in engaged audience recently.
Rosie Green, Head of Content at Motive Agency said “The seamless creative content with a spotlight on heart-warming real-life stories and the impact of Guide Dogs’ services made this campaign a highlight of our collective journey to date. We were elated with the outstanding feedback received from Guide Dogs and external audiences.”

Embracing digital and social media
The Digital Agency of the Year (small) and the Social Media Agency of the Year (small) award nominations are a testament to our expertise in leveraging digital platforms to deliver outstanding results for our clients. In the fast-paced digital world, it is important to be up to date, knowledgeable, and ahead of the game when it comes to digital strategies and social media. Not only do we provide training to our team as it is needed or requested, we are also constantly learning, researching, and developing our skills to ensure only the best work is produced for our clients. As we understand and embrace the power of social media and cutting-edge digital experiences, this enables us to enhance client messages and connect with their target audiences on a deeper level.
“Serving as an extension of in-house teams for our clients, our ability to understand, adjust, and add value sets us apart. We feel it is important to be there in any capacity required, such as working in client offices and clients joining us at Motive to maintain strong relationships – and we love it!” comments Louise Simkins, Motive Agency Director.
Toby Howell, Partner at Guide Dogs UK said “We chose to work with Motive Agency due to their collaborative approach and their infectious atmosphere. Their passion, dedication, and bond as a team is exactly what we were looking for in an agency to support our digital and social media needs. We will be using them for the foreseeable future and can’t wait to see what they come up with next.”
