We are thrilled that the Visual Assets team has been shortlisted for the B2B Agency of the Year award (small). Our heartfelt thanks go to the UK Agency Awards for acknowledging the efforts of our small yet formidable team of brand and communications experts who consistently go above and beyond.

For over 25 years, we have empowered both renowned brands and ambitious challengers to engage and inspire their audiences, employees, and stakeholders. In a year marked by market fluctuations, shifting priorities, and evolving challenges, we have proven our ability to help clients navigate and adapt to change. This recognition in 2023 is a testament to our dedication and expertise in the B2B sector.

About Visual Assets

Visual Assets is a creative brand and comms agency. We provide a full spectrum of marketing and internal comms collateral, paired with no-nonsense strategic and creative thinking. Our lean profile is central to our ethos and culture: we remove the bureaucracy, management layers, and barriers between our clients and the creatives doing the work.

Our Award story

At the start of an economically challenging year, we saw clients shrink their marketing budgets, reduce their agency rosters, and take longer to make decisions. Our clients were looking for:

•           Great value for money

•           Wise council and guidance

•           Flexibility and a can-do attitude

A key part of our role – and our success – is meeting the market where it is and helping our clients solve commercial and economical challenges too. As a small, cost-effective, but capable alternative to an ATL agency, we were well positioned to meet our clients’ changing needs.

We focused on deepening our relationships with our clients, recommending efficient ways to develop new collateral. Our team were trusted for our persective and opinion, even providing feedback on creative from other agency partners. As a team we become a longstanding source of product and category knowledge, and guardians for consistency and clarity, so we not only provided support our clients, but also their other agency partners.

During this time we considered our agency proposition and how we approach new business. Our new direction was informed again by our clients and the market. For a long time, we’ve recognised the importance of approaching internal comms with as much energy and creativity as consumer marketing. This is a need that will only grow as technology like AI continues to transform how people work. As a result, we decided to leverage our long history of great work in internal comms more fully. We launched a targeted new business campaign on LinkedIn, built around this internal comms proposition.

Finally, our networking efforts led to a significant new business win, starting our relationship with creative delivery and evolving that into a more strategic comms approach, shaping proposition and storytelling.

Comments

“We measure our success and achievement by the response of our clients. In the past year, they’ve described us as ‘One of the most efficient agencies’ (Pluxee), ‘A partner I can count on to deliver’ (IWG) and ‘Incredibly creative’ (Paragon). They’ve told us our work was ‘Truly superlative’ (Pluxee) and ‘exceeds all expectations’ (VIAVI).”

Being a finalist for this award is a significant milestone for us, and is testament to the team’s dedication, creativity and commitment.
